Wayne started his career in accounting as a financial controller for various Repco companies and in 1979 formalised his experience when he attained the Certificate of Business Studies in Accounting. In 1980 Wayne started his own business - Cargills Taxation Services - and operated as a sole practitioner until 1995. Wayne continued working with his existing clients but formed a larger practice with an enterprising partner and Cargill & Associates was born. Wayne thrives on being able to assist clients pro-actively in finding solutions to financial problems as well as mitigating tax liabilities. Wayne places particular emphasis on guiding clients to attain business success as well as personal wealth creation and security.
Wayne is passionate about music and enjoys just about any type of recreation.
Mark joined Cargill & Associates in 1990 and has been an associate since 1995. Over the years he has worked extensively with small business owners and individual clients to ensure that they are efficiently managing their personal tax and business affairs as well as meeting their taxation and other compliance obligations. Mark has attained a Bachelor of Economics as well as a Graduate Diploma of Business (Accounting). Mark is also a Certified Practising Accountant.
Mark is a Pies supporter and enjoys family holidays to explore new destinations.
Andrew has recently joined Cargills and works closely with a range of individual and small business clients as well as specialising in the area of Self-Managed Superfunds. Andrew is undergoing the Chartered Accountant qualification & holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree. Andrew has previously worked in commercial banking, however in 1996 Andrew saw the light and became a tax accountant.
Away from work Andrew is a keen follower of the Geelong Football Club & enjoys getting away to Gippsland as much as possible to go fishing.
Peter is a full time accountant and has been working with Cargill & Associates since 2008. Peter is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance. Peter is involved in the preparation of accounts, tax returns and BAS for small business clients and individual tax returns.
Peter is a Blues supporter and in his spare time keeps active by playing numerous sports. Peter also enjoys travelling.
Julie joined Cargill & Associates June 2002, where she worked as an accountant until she went on maternity leave to have her first child. After her second child and some 4 years later Julie has returned on a part time basis. Julie is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business. She deals mainly with the company's individual and small business clients in the preparation of financial accounts and taxation returns.
Julie enjoys relaxing with the family, cooking and going on holidays, particularly to New York.
Jackie Anderson joined the Cargill & Associates team in 2008 as a receptionist and has worked her way up to office manager. She is responsible for the overall smooth running of the organisation, keeping both staff and clients happy. Jackie is the resident IT guru and go to girl of the office, making appointments, assisting with applications and lodgements, bookkeeping, accounts and helping clients understand their accounting software.
A mad Richmond supporter, she is a country girl at heart and spends most of her time with her partner Simon, a menagerie of pets, friends and family. Jackie is currently pregnant with her first child.
Nina is an experienced and ambitious Accountant with a Master's Degree in Business Administration and more than 20 years of work experience in Germany and Europe. She also ran her own accountancy firm in Frankfurt prior to immigrating to Melbourne in 2007 with her family.
In her spare time Nina is looking after her two boys.
Debbie started with Cargill's in March 2018 and has come to us with extensive office and administrative experience. You may speak with her when you call into the office so make sure you say hello. She assist Jackie to ensure that our office is running smoothly.
